The wet weather last weekend caused a major headache for many clubs attempting to complete their club championships ahead of the champion of champion events this weekend. With a very full programme in the next two months we are hoping for some fine weather.

1-5 Year Interclub Sixes
Anniversary Day (Monday) will see 10 clubs with 12 teams competing in the Centre 1-5 Year Interclub Sixes event, at Kamo greens. The event will be played as singles, pairs and triples. Reporting time is 8.30am.
Teams entered: One Tree Point x 2, Maungaturoto, Hikurangi, Kensington x 2, Mangawhai, Hakaru, Kamo, Arapohue, Onerahi x 2.
The winners of this event will represent Northland in the Regional finals held later in the season.
Centre 1-10 year Any Combination Open Triples
Entries are slow in coming for this new event. It is to be played on February 3 at Bowls Whangarei. This is an open tournament and players in a team do not have to be from the same club.
Centre Executive Fours is to be held at Kensington greens on February 15. Club entries to the Centre office. Please remember this event is for the executive and voluntary workers in your club and you may enter more than one team.
