North Force have followed their relegation escape last week with another win, this time over promotion hopefuls Takapuna.
Torrential rain on Saturday at Tikipunga forced the reserve's match to be abandoned and the game transferred to Kamo, but it was the home side that led from the start to record a 4-2 win.
Keegan Baddeley scored a double, while Tom Taylor and Murray Wootten were the other scorers before Wootten was sent off for a dangerous tackle in the second half.
The match finished as a 10-a-side game with one of the Takapuna players also sent off, disappointed no doubt their chance of promotion to the Northern Premier League had been lost. North Force have two games left against Ngaruawahia at home and Forrest Hill away and have a chance of a mid-table finish for the season.
