Mangakahia's Brent Lewis won the club's mens' squash open title while Sacha Pou-Tito went one better by winning the women's open title as well as the men's second division competition.
Pou-Tito beat Kamo's Shontelle Goodhew in the final of the women's open in three games, after she had beaten clubmate Kane Turketo in the men's division two final - also in three straight games.
The B1-graded women's player dropped a division to compete in the men's competition and played some tight games on her way to winning the final, with James Green taking a game off her in the semifinal.
Green went on to enjoy a great win in the match for third and fourth beating Sam Sayes in five sets and 15-13 in the deciding game.
Lewis - the only A grader in the field - was expected to win and did, beating another Mangakahia player Craig Widdup in the final in three games.
Kamo's Daniel Notton, who won the Kaitaia Open recently, was third in the men's open beating Whangarei's Clayton Campbell in four games.
Maungakahia's Jacinta Matson won the women's second division title beating Karen West in four games, which improves her to C Grade status.
Matson's brother Tate won the plate - without dropping a game - in the North Island Championships in Hamilton over the weekend. However, his first-round defeat in the open competition to Auckland's Philip Buscke robbed him of a chance to progress further up the rankings.
He was named in the New Zealand junior team to prepare for the World Junior Championships in Equador later this year - but in the position as non-travelling reserve.
