Injury threatens to derail North Force's strong start to the Northern Region Football League division two title chase ahead of their away game today.

North Force, who sit fifth overall just four points off first, face Claudeland Rovers this afternoon in Hamilton but will have their depth tested.

Coach Russell Baddeley said off the back of a bye last weekend his side still had a few injury concerns.

"The team is full of determination going into today's match," Baddeley commented. "However North Force are missing Calvin Elrick who is away in the Solomon Islands and have a few injury concerns and are sweating on the fitness of Andrew Dunn, Marcus Crum and Taylor Bell-Booth. Cody Lacour will definitely be unavailable with a knee injury still keeping him out of the squad.

"So again the depth of the North Force squad will be tested and I am sure you will see another open, attacking game."

While North Force had last weekend off they are keen to pick up and carry on with the form they showed when easily beating Lynn Avon at home 3-0 the week before.

Baddeley feels confident they can come away with the result, saying the Claudeland Rovers have started the season slowly but have been picking up points steadily of late, adding he expected a tough game nonetheless.

North Force squad: Shane Stanners, Nathan Steel, Marcus Crum, Dom Fromont (captain), Joseph Luiten, Andrew Dunn, Keegan Baddeley, Jeremy Rintoul, Thomas Berry, Joel Crawford, Steve Schimmel, Josh Hacker, Ben Porter, Taylor Bell-Booth, Brett Plant.
