Manawanui Collegiate managed to win most of the quarters with the exception of the third, which was drawn 10 goals apiece. Injured players meant Huanui were not at full strength.
After two rounds, the Collegiate Challenge now has a break with the next game not scheduled until June 7 due to Kensington Stadium being unavailable next Friday and the following weekend there is no netball.
