Thrills and spills kept Taipa Speedway's crowd entertained at Queen's Birthday weekend as cars went flying in the demolition race.
Junkyard Dogs' demo driver, Whitianga's Craig Barnett, hit Bill Duval on the right rear corner, forcing his car into a three-and-a-half barrel roll, while Pukekohe's Gavin Millen in his production saloon went up the bank on the back straight, where it slowly turned over on to its roof.
For new Rotorua stockcar driver Charles Day, his time at Taipa was one he won't forget after being rolled, thanks to a shunt from Taipa's Rob Anderson.
