North Force women will don their boots on Sunday after not having played in the Northern Premier League for over a month. They clash with Fencibles United at Tikipunga.
The women have been out of action because of other premier league teams contesting the National Women's Cup and the Federation's Cup.
Fencibles United narrowly pipped North Force 2-1 in the opening round and sit one spot above them in seventh.
The women have played friendly matches during their time off but have missed the higher level of competition.
However, coach Bruce Plunkett said his team were ready for a big hit-out this weekend and, maybe, even their first victory of the season.
The North Force men also play at home, facing off against third-placed Glenfield Rovers at Kamo Football Grounds at 3.15pm tomorrow.
North Force are without Calvin Erick, who has been suspended for two matches for an on-field infringement during a New Zealand under-17 match, and Sammy Oso.
May the force be with them
