Match-ups promise exciting premier finals night

Tonight is the night for premier and premier reserve netball players, with their respective finals taking place from 5.30pm.

Manawanui Red and Wahine Toa 1 will contest the premier reserve title at 5.30pm, with Wahine Toa making it a hat-trick of finals.

Manawanui Red on the other hand will be looking to make a statement in what is their first grand final appearance.

The premier final at 7.30pm is between Fideliter 1 and Helena Bay Whangaruru, with Fideliter 1 looking to make it four titles in a row.

Both games promise to be exciting and all four teams deserve being at the top of their grades.

Entry to Kensington Stadium is free and local band A2Stix will perform between the games.

Meanwhile in other netball finals, several senior teams will play their respective finals today also.

Contesting the A1 title is Frings Whangaruru and Rynoz Hora Hora 1 while Huanui College Silver and Whangarei Girls' High School 9-1 will play for the College A1 title.

In A2, Manawanui Blue take on Whangaruru 2 as Pompallier College 1 face Whangaruru Collegiate Red in the College A2 final.

In the AR1 finals, Hora Hora Maroon play Twin Coast Helicopters Marist while Girls' High 10-3 face Whangaruru Collegiate Blue for the college equivalent.

AME Ltd Marist battle Old Boys for the AR2 as Wahine Toa Collegiate and Huanui College Blue play for the College AR2.

Excellere Platinum face Girls' High 10-4 in the College C1 final while Huanui College Navy play Girls' High 9-5 in the College C2.

Fideliter 1 vs Helena Bay Whangaruru, 7.30pm.
