Kaipara won convincingly twice last weekend while the others all faltered at least once. Michael O'Flaherty and English import and all-rounder Joe Robbins both made runs last weekend.
Parlane said their resources ran very deep.
"They've got James Marshall and Brad Wilson leading the batting, a few other Northern Districts reps, and no injuries."
They will be missing Northern Knights rep Marshall for today's action, although he will be available tomorrow.
Although the main action looks set to take place tomorrow, Parlane said there were some good tussles in store today.
"If people want to come down today they can see (Maungakaramea quick bowler) Cody Andrews charging in at Brad Wilson.
"There should be some pretty intense battles."
Parlane also said to look out for Zest Insurance Whangarei Boys' High School.
Last weekend they split their results, beating City before losing to Onerahi. Parlane said they pose a threat.
"If they have a good day today they play Kaipara tomorrow morning, and that could be a virtual semi-final."
The two-weekend T20 competition was the summer's only scheduled action for Northland clubs in the shortest form of the game.
Parlane said he hoped for a decent turnout.
"I'd like to think the other teams not involved in the final will hang around and watch it. Once people know their plans I think they'll start making arrangements."
The first games begin at 11am at Kensington Park.
