"We attacked on the right-hand side, through Nicola Kelly, who made good decisions and passes."
Lints said from that point his team were excellent at executing their chances - even though they hit the post three times.
"It [the result] wasn't an indication as to how badly Kamo played, it more shows how good we played," said Lints.
He said Old Girls youngsters Georgia Miller, 15, and Nicola Kelly, 16, used the match to build confidence before they head off as part of the Northland side competing in the national under-21 tournament from May 7-9.
