Last month Sian Fremaux was sprinting her way around Whangarei's hockey turf wearing a Black Sticks jersey, this week she's hitting the turf wearing Canterbury's colours.
The former Northlander, who was the leading goal scorer for the Black Sticks during the Four Nations Tournament in Whangarei last month, was using all her experience gained as a new Black Stick to direct her Canterbury side around the turf against Midlands yesterday.
The 20-year-old Fremaux is pictured here leading her side out of the goal box during a penalty corner at the national under-21 tournament being held over this week.
To catch Fremaux today, head down to the turf at 4pm when her side takes on Southern. Northland's women's team plays at 6pm against Auckland.
