"She wanted to play with them because it's competition for her, so [now] she plays off the men's tees, which are competition tees, and still beats them," he said.
Holding several course records at Sherwood Park, including 65 off the mens blue tees and 65 off the white tees, Park recently earned her card as a professional and holds a handicap of plus four.
"She wins the gross and beats all the men, she outdrives them. She's a phenomenal player, phenomenal distance - she'll outdrive most girls out there."
Travelling to the Christchurch Golf Club to attempt to qualify for the New Zealand Open recently, Park, with Jack as her caddie, narrowly missed the cut by one shot after lipping out several putts.
Despite this, the up-and-comer made history in Christchurch with an awe-inspiring drive down the 18th hole - a shot which resulted in one hell of a hole-in-one and a raucous reception from onlookers.
"We turned up at Christchurch for a pre-round and we played 18 holes. She scored really low, [and] on the 18th hole she did this massive shot and as we were walking up there was a roar from the clubhouse and we didn't think it was for us.
"We got up there and were looking for the ball, Sumin thought it had landed short, and one guy said to us 'are you looking for your ball? I know exactly where it is'.
"We went over to the hole and it was in the hole. It was 274m with the driver and in no time in the club's history has anybody hit a hole-in-one on that par four."
Park, 19, has been in Northland for the past few months, and will be around for another month soaking up the sun as she grinds out 10-11 hours a day at Sherwood Park fine-tuning her skills.
"Give her a year and she'll be up there with all the names," Jack said. "With that talent, you can't not be."
