Waipu cyclist Fiona Southorn has secured a third Paralympic Games and is hoping for a podium finish this time around.
The 44-year-old was among 10 cycling, rowing and shooting athletes selected by Paralympics New Zealand to compete in this year's games in London.
Her selection in the NZ squad comes only months after she scooped a silver and a bronze medal from the World Track Cycling Championships in the United States.
In doing so, she broke her nine-year personal best time to jump to no3 in the world.
She is optimistic about her chances for the London games but is just enjoying the selection for now.
