Whangarei's Tangi Kirkman lines up a tactical stroke at the Kensington Croquet Club's annual tournament earlier this week.
Kirkman and her partner Verna Willis-Croft went on to win the Senior Handicap doubles competition on a countback ahead of Kensington's Brenda Thomas and Kath Rankin after both pairs were level on three wins apiece.
The four-day tournament attracted 18 players in three grades.
