Northland Residentials 2011 was moved to Kamo Squash Club this year due to a conflict with the Rugby World Cup for Kerikeri, who will host the Residentials next year.
There were 90 entries overall at last week's tournament, and the only grade that was not contested was the A-grade men.
With so many entries, some of the grades started the battle for top of their division on Wednesday with all the finals being held on Sunday at Kamo.
There were three A-grade ladies this year with the E-grade men having the most entries closely followed by the C-grade men.
Because players only had to contest their own grade, there were many five setters and with the win by two, many games were went beyond the 15 mark.
It was the final tournament for Kaitaia's Peter Hoult, who will be missed on the circuit.
Residentials was the final tournament in Northland for 2011. However, the Nationals are still to come for the Northland junior team, who will compete at the Junior Team Nationals at Henderson October 11-13. The Junior Individuals tournament will run from October 8-10.
