Northland golf professional Caroline Bon has progressed to the final stage of qualifying for the Ladies European Tour in 2012.
The former New Zealand strokeplay champion finished on an 11-over-par total for a share of 28th place at the La Manga South and North Course in Spain.
Bon, 24, in her second year playing as a professional, needed to place inside the top 35 after four rounds to progress to the final qualification for the Ladies European Tour.
Bon needs to finish inside the top 30 players to be eligible for the tour. Earlier this week Bon was in a six-way share of third place after one round.
Meanwhile, Waikato golfers Sarah Bradley and Emily Perry are the best of the Kiwis after two rounds at the Lake Macquarie Women's Amateur at the Belmont Golf Club in Melbourne.
