BOCCIA - Team wins six medals

The Northland Boccia Team ended their 2008 nationals campaign in Christchurch by winning six medals on Sunday.
The nine Northlanders also brought home two trophies.
Northland again made a clean sweep in the Kiwi Class individual competition.
Michelle Batchelor retained her national title won in 2007.
Tikipunga High School's Kimberley McLean won silver in the class and Scott Burdett the bronze. Burdett and Kayela Benseman also won bronze in the Kiwi grade pairs.
Manaia View school student Alex Dickson, 11, won bronze in the BC1 & 2 Grade and Annie Wihongi in the BC3 Grade Pairs.
Kathy Bingham was awarded the best referee trophy.
