Northlanders in the central Whangarei area this weekend should pop over to the Cobham Oval to check out our best two-day cricketers in the final.
This weekend's final sees Northland's two-day club cricket competition come to an end as Onerahi Central take on Whangarei Boys' High School.
Northland Cricket competitions manager Neal Parlane said Onerahi and Boys' High deserved to be there and would make for an interesting few days.
"Onerahi Central has been the most consistent," said Parlane. "Since the first round [where Onerahi lost] they haven't looked back. [But] Boys' High has won three games outright."
Parlane said that while some may say this weekend's encounter will be one-sided, the pitch is good enough to ensure some good cricket is on show.
