While online ticket sales have been slow, as expected, Northland Cricket general manager Warren Marr expects to see about 2000 people filling out Cobham Oval tomorrow - with all school-aged children, right up to Year 13, having free entry.
Marr said there had only been about 500 online ticket sales but he wasn't surprised as the Christmas period often meant people were out of touch with their computers.
"Now, the [ticket] enquiring has started ramping up. The ground holds about 4500 people and we're hoping to get a couple of thousand on Sunday, the Monday is probably going to be a little quieter with schools going back and that."
