A former Northlander working at a top Auckland school is on bail and back in Whangarei.
Rafe Callum Fannin, 36, appeared in Auckland District Court this week on four charges of dishonestly using a document to obtain a pecuniary advantage.
Police said in court on Tuesday further charges were likely. Fannin hails from Whangarei but has lived in Auckland since the mid-2000s.
He is an Auckland Grammar School economics, accounting and business studies teacher.
The offence carries a maximum penalty of seven years in jail, and outside court Fannin said: "It's not looking too flash, man.
