Whangarei cannabis club bust

Whangarei Police have busted a cannabis smoking and growing "club" in Whangarei's industrial Lower Port Rd.
The Northern Advocate understands two people were taken from the site and are at Whangarei Police station after a police raid at the workshop-style premises this morning.
Police have been monitoring the group who set up the Daktory Whangarei cannabis club last year.
Two days ago on social media, a man called Brian Borland said he built the Daktory Whangarei around his commercial cannabis garden. He said it was his ninth garden, with seven of them being confiscated by the police.
The club charged membership.
