A fire has ripped through a Whangārei laundromat leaving firefighters battling the blaze for nearly six hours.
Fire and Emergency shift manager Carren Larking said they received multiple calls at 11.20pm and the 50m x 20m building was found “well involved” in a fire.
The building is on Commerce St.
At the height of the blaze, six fire trucks and a ladder truck were there.
