Two people were taken by St John Ambulance to Bay of Islands Hospital with minor injuries for a check over after a crash at about 8.10am yesterday.
Traffic was reduced to one lane as emergency services attended the scene and until a heavy haulage vehicle was able to remove the damaged truck.
A police spokesman was unable to give details about what caused the collision.
