Three people were injured after the car they were travelling in crashed into a tree in the Far North on Friday.
The accident, which totalled the car, occurred in Te Kao.
By the time emergency services arrived, the four occupants had extracted themselves from the vehicle.
Northland Emergency Services TrustHelicopter attended the accident but the three injured were not serious enough to be flown to Whangarei Hospital and were transported to Kaitaia Hospital with moderate injuries.
