Police have charged two of five teenagers who were allegedly in a stolen car involved in a service station ram raid.
Police spotted the vehicle and chased it south of Ohaeawai early Tuesday morning.
It was spiked at Maromaku but continued for another seven minutes before coming to a halt on Towai Rd.
Two of the occupants had jumped from the vehicle while it was still moving, but a police dog tracked them and they were arrested.
A police spokesman said the car had been identified as one used in a ram raid at the BP service station at Awanui late on Monday night.
