A water park? More slides? More shade?
If that's what you'd like to see at two central Whangārei playgrounds now is your chance to tell the powers-that-be.
Whangārei District Council is designing a new playground at Pohe Island and refurbishing the existing one at the Town Basin and has put a call out for ideas from the public via a survey.
A post on the council's Facebook page has already gathered plenty of feedback.
The survey seeks to find out what people would like to see and do at their perfect playground.
Responders are asked what age group they, or their children belong too.
They are asked to rank the top five things they, or their children, like to do in a playground from a list including climbing, sliding, swinging, jumping, imaginative play, chatting and sitting quietly.
They are also asked to rank the type of play in order of priority from adventure, social, vibrant, exploratory, sustainable and iconic.
