Whangarei's Abbie Palmer has had a double dose of good news with her selection for New Zealand in two upcoming squash events.
Palmer has made the New Zealand team for this year's Women's World Junior Team Squash Championships in the Netherlands.
The 2015 Women's World Junior Team Squash Championships will be held in Eindhoven from August 25-September 4.
The New Zealand team will be aiming to improve on their previous effort in Poland, when they finished eighth. The team is Eleanor Epke, 17, Auckland; Juee Bhide, 18, Auckland and Nadia Hubbard, 15, Bay of Plenty.
Meanwhile, New Zealand Squash has also confirmed that Epke and Palmer, along with Central's Luke Jones, will represent New Zealand at the Youth Commonwealth Games in Samoa later this year. The games run from September 5-12.
