It's hoped a brief television appearance by one of Northland's most wanted men will lead to his arrest.
Simon Allen Kerr, 56, has warrants out for his arrest for breaching parole conditions and was featured on television's Police Ten 7 programme last night as a wanted person.
Kerr, who has a 35-year criminal career but turned to art in a bid to get his life ontrack outside jail, was living in the Kerikeri area before he breached and was wanted by police.
Northland police posted on their Facebook page earlier this month urging anyone who may know where Kerr is to contact them. But they had no luck and hope his television appearance will help find him.
