A serious crash closed part of State Highway 1 in Northland this morning.
Police said the crash was first reported just before 6am, near Horeke, north of Kaikohe.
All four occupants in the vehicle were injured - with at least one of them receiving serious injuries.
The serious crash unit has been called to examine the scene and the road is now open with a stop/go sign in place.
