Police have released a security camera picture of a man believed to have robbed Onerahi PostShop of hundreds of dollars.
They have also released a photo of the fake pistol used in Monday afternoon's heist.
Head of the investigation Detective Sergeant Shane Pilmer said the clothes the man was wearing while he robbed the PostShop, plus the fake firearm, were found in bush off Waverley Rd in Onerahi by a police dog and handler shortly after the robbery about 2.30pm.
Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this man around the Onerahi shopping area about the time of the robbery.
The clothes worn are described as a green hooded sweatshirt, blue trackpants and a green scarf. A black cap with white around the peak was also recovered along with the sports shoes.
