Halfway through its six-year lifespan, Northland's land transport plan is up for review again.
The reviewed blueprint for transport spending across Northland comes with Northland Regional Council member and regional transport committee chairman John Bain saying it's a harsh reality that there will never be enough funding to do all the desired jobs.
"Funding is limited, so we need to ensure the proposed spend will deliver the best benefit for Northland," Mr Bain said.
The Draft Regional Land Transport Plan 2015-2021 was released yesterday and will be open for public feedback until January 31.
With the plan at the halfway point in its six-year lifespan, it's a legal requirement that it be reviewed, Mr Bain said.
