Treaty of Waitangi workshop

People can gain an insight into the history of Aotearoa through a Treaty of Waitangi workshop.
Held at Glenbervie's Pehiaweri Marae this month, the workshop, which involves activity-based learning, will help people answer questions such as ''what is the Treaty of Waitangi?'' and will compare the Declaration of Independence with the Treaty.
A certificate will be available on completion of the course, which is being held on May 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 6.30pm to 8pm.
The first workshop will start at 6.15pm to allow time for a powhiri.
