A well-known Northland personality has taken his hat off for the last time.
Frank (Cisco) Ingram was born in Rawene in 1949 but worked overseas for many years.
When he returned it was with a passion to work within his community.
Frank wore many hats: as a mental health worker with Hokianga Health, as singer and regular voice at the Hokianga Country Music Club and all their festivals and also with the Whangarei Country Music Club.
He was also a fitness instructor, setting up his own community gym in Rawene, an athletics coach at schools around the Hokianga area and as a fisherman was renowned for his fishing escapades.
