Northland Dairy Industry Awards finalists named

Finalists have been named for the Northland Dairy Industry Awards.

Colin and Isabella Beazley, 50-50 sharemilkers with 320 cows at Wellsford, estimated production of 140,000kgMS.

Judging for the six Northland Dairy Trainee of the Year finalists will take place on Monday, with judges from Auckland and Waikato assessing the five Share Farmer of the Year finalists and five Dairy Manager of the Year finalists from Tuesday to Thursday next week.

Daniel and Gina Duncan, 50-50 sharemilkers with 1030 cows at Te Kopuru, estimated production of 285,000kgMS.

Northland Dairy Industry Awards winners will be announced at a dinner in Whangarei on March 8.

Peter Giesbers and Josiah Shaw, 50-50 sharemilkers with 380 cows at Kaikohe, estimated production to May 31 of 150,000kgMS.

The Northland winners will then be assessed against winners from all other regions with national titles awarded at the 2018 New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards dinner at ILT Stadium in Invercargill on May 12.

Tim and Heather Fuller, 25 per cent sharemilkers with 390 cows at Kaiwaka, estimated production of 160,000kgMS.
