Whangarei's popular Artisans Fair has a new owner ahead of its new season on the Town Basin's Canopy Bridge.
The Artisans Fair has been run since it started more than a decade ago by Kaari Schlebach, but she has passed over ownership of the fair to Jodie Hannam.
"As many are aware, my focus has moved to another town for now, and I have been putting out for a special someone else to take over the reins (of the fair)," Ms Schlebach said.
"I am truly delighted to announce that with the support of the Whangarei District Council, Jodie Hannam and I have come to an agreement, which will see Jodie take over
as the new owner and event manager of the Artisans Fair this week."
Ms Hannam will be known to many through her work at the Manaia Arts, Craft & Food Show, in Whangarei Heads on Queen's Birthday weekend which she has managed for three years.
