A two-day search for a missing person in forest and farmland north of Kerikeri has ended well, with the man found in a forestry block.
Kerikeri police Senior Sergeant Peter Robinson said the man was given a medical examination then returned to his "extremely relieved" family at Tapuaetahi on Friday.
Police and volunteers of Far North Search and Rescue spent two days looking for him on the Purerua Peninsula.
