Two men who allegedly broke into a home, bound its occupant's legs with tape, and threatened to kill him have been remanded in custody.
Dillyn Nicholson, 23, and Raymond Gilmour, appeared in Whangarei District Court on Monday on various charges.
Both were remanded in custody to re-appear in Dargaville District Court on August 27.
Nicholson is facing charges of aggravated robbery, injuring with intent to injure, threatening to kill, possession of a firearm and ammunition, and two of burglary.
Gilmour faces similar charges, except one charge of burglary.
