Police say a man accused of assaulting a police officer has handed himself in.
Nathan John Theobald, 29, right, had been on the run for 12 days after police said he
assaulted a male officer in a forestry block north of Dargaville. The officer suffered facial
injuries but was released
from hospital the same day.
