Man flown to hospital after being hit by vehicle in Northland forest

A man has been critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in a remote Northland forestry block.

A St John spokeswoman said an ambulance and the Northland Rescue Helicopter were sent to the site on Murray Rd, near Pakotai about 10.30am.

The worker had been hit by a vehicle.

He was flown to Auckland Hospital.
