Whangarei's Kamo Bypass will be closed to traffic several times this month while the NZ Transport Agency carries out road repairs.
NZTA said the repair work will be carried out to improve the road surface and detours will be in place through Kamo during the closure of what is partof State Highway 1.
The work will take place in three phases, with stage one from 5.30am on February 12 to 6am February 13.
To ensure the job can be done safely and to a high standard the bypass will be closed to traffic for the duration of the work.
Stage two will see the bypass closed from 7pm on February 19 to 6am the following morning. This work will then continue for the next three nights, aiming to be completed by 6am on February 22.
