"Jordan has been chopping since he was 11 years old and is a member of the NZ Axemans team, where he had success at the Sydney Easter Show."
Jordan also took out the 350mm Standing.
Other members of the NZ Axemans team managed good placings throughout the day.
David McDonald added to his third in the underhand chop with a win in the 425mm single saw and a second placing in the 350mm underhand event, which was won by Chris Lord.
David McDonald paired up with his brother Nathan to win the 400mm double hand sawing handicap event over Jason Semenoff and Lyna Beehre.
Nathan McDonald grabbed second place in the 375mm standing chop handicap behind winner Semenoff and a third in the 425mm single saw.
Daly said the host club needed to take a lot of credit for the successful day.
"The Ngati Hine Axemans club, under the leadership are to be congratulated on their efforts at promoting the sport among young people by holding weekly training sessions," she said.
"Their participation on the day was a feature together with the four women participants."
Ngati Hine Axemans club hopes to have the meeting become part of the Northern Axeman's circuit in 2017.
