Dust off the stetsons, polish up the cowboy boots and and get out those guitars - Maori Television is looking for Northland country musicians and singers for the next series of My Country Song.
Blue Bach Productions has announced the show is back for a second series and auditions are open now and being held in Whangarei in late November or early December.
Hosted by country music legend Dennis Marsh and NZ Gold Guitar winner Saelyn Guyton, My Country Song provides a platform for musicians to showcase their talent.
The series is not a competition but performers are encouraged to share original compositions and their favourite country songs.
Musicians will be given the opportunity to perform their song with a professional backing band led by accomplished musical director, Richard Anaru.
