The Waitangi Tribunal will hold three hui in the North soon to discuss steps Ngapuhi Treaty settlement claimants face in preparing for Te Paparahi o Te Raki hearings.
The first hui will be in the Te Runanga o Whaingaroa building at Kaeo at 10.30am on November 21 and the second at the Pakanae Marae in the Hokianga at 10.30am on November 22.
The third hui will be in the Spire Cricket Pavilion on Okara Dr in Whangarei at 10am on November 23.
The tribunal will also hold a judicial conference at the Copthorne Hotel in Waitangi at 9.30am on November 24 to receive submissions on the joint claimant statement of generic issues.
In addition, parties may make submissions on the purpose, nature and outline of sub-regions for the Stage 2 planning and hearings process; any remaining amalgamation or consolidation issues; and other relevant kaupapa parties wish to raise.
