Bream Bay's premier men's hockey team will be looking at making it two wins from two after beating Springfield 3-2 before they face Maungakaramea tonight.
A catch-up round has been scheduled for today after a few rounds this season have been called off due to bad weather, which continued on Saturday.
Bream Bay could call themselves lucky for having a Friday night game to beat Springfield, as Maungakaramea and Mangapai had their game called off at halftime on Saturday. Springfield take on Mangapai tonight.
The bad weather also created havoc in the premier women's hockey as Springfield and Hikurangi's clash was postponed before hit off.
However, in the games that were played, Maungakaramea dominated Mangapai in winning 11-1 while Old Girls continued their great season with a 4-1 win over Whangarei Girls' High School.
