It is well researched that children thrive better in an environment that has stability (as the child placement review has shown this week, as the tragic Kumar case established) and
bonding with parents.
The children of those out-of-work parents would have an advantage if family credits pertained to them and benefits were enough to survive on.
That aside, there are parents who stated that they would rather have increases in daycare funding so that someone else can bond with their children.
