Shane Reti will need to do better than create 1000 jobs per year as there have already been 1000 applicants for the new Kmart store so his target will be just a drop in a huge ocean of unemployment figures.
To add to National's promise of jobs, jobs, jobs, how is this going to equate to all those redundancies and lost jobs even within the past year?
I tried to keep a tally but the numbers were too great to comprehend and that is not counting those 90-day wonder placements where only one in five remained permanent.
