Which hat will John Key wear when he has a referendum on the proposed new flag design for New Zealand?
Will it be in his "capacity as PM?" or "I will treat this as a one off binding referendum" (not the PM's style) or "a firefighter putting up a smoke screen to divert a larger fire from spreading?"
Which ever hat he wears it will be one with a hidden agenda, that is for certain! Some honesty would not go amiss, John.
