All the debate and speculation about the Hundertwasser gallery is for nothing, says a reader.

All the debate and speculation about the Hundertwasser gallery is for nothing, says a reader.

Hundertwasser or Under-Wasser? The sea level is rising at an alarming rate. Pretty soon, by geological standards, all low-lying coastal properties could be submerged.

The major cities of the world, many of which are close to sea level, will become derelict.
Whangarei's district council is investing heaps of our rates money
into the defunct CBD as well as the Hundertwasser gallery. Is this money that is literally being poured down the drain? All the debate and speculation about this gallery is for nothing.

The "fors" and "againsts" have been negated by Mother Nature.

It would be appropriate to change the gallery's name to Under Wasser but don't panic as one factor is missing from this equation and that is the future projections of our climate. What has been projected for our weather in the next 15 years is due to abnormally low solar activity which has now been running for a decade and a half.

The sun has not been producing any sun spots and is at a very low solar minimum which, if it continues, is indicative of another ice age which will lower sea levels.

So be prepared and don't waste ratepayers' money to entertain fish. Plan for the future.
