It is two weeks since Whangarei MP Shane Reti claimed "bad grammar" and "crossed wires" were responsible for his statement on public input into the Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement being mis-construed.
I, like many others I fancy, have been waiting for Dr Reti to clarify his position and give us
the specifics.
As deputy chairman of the foreign affairs, defence and trade committee which would play a key role in ratifying the TPPA, he should surely know exactly what public input has been planned.
Will opposition parties be briefed on the details of the agreement?
What will the select committee process be?
