Hart received the "least gained" trophy for the work she is doing recording the club's history. Part of her work, which included 500 photographs of hill climbs from the 1950s to the 1980s, was continually shown on a large screen throughout the night.
Doug Adnitt won four trophies, Hill Climbs 2001+cc, Fastest Saloon, Rally Sprint and Best Kept Car, while club president Steve Hart also won four trophies.
The trophies were presented by four past members, Graham Wright and Ray Scampton, who are foundation members of the club which started in 1955, and life member Doug Marsh with his wife Raewyn.
This weekend, the club has a rallysprint event in Glenbervie from 10am, before having quarter-mile sprints on Casey Rd in One Tree Point on September 15 - an event which is open to the public to enter on the day.
For the full list of winners, see Tuesday's Northern Advocate. For more information on the Northland Car Club, go to ncc.org.nz or phone Steve on (09) 433 0255.
